![]() ![]() This makes him a wise adviser to those who seek his counsel or need it subconsciously. In the anime and through most of the manga, Mori only speaks when something needs to be said, his intelligence and observant nature taking in much more than many of the people around him realize. His stoic and sometimes scary demeanor hides the fact that he has a peculiar connection with animals as seen in the manga when he adopts a stray tanuki and cares for a baby chick, and wherein it is also joked about him having a "fetish for small things" (Honey, Haruhi Fujioka, etc.). He is a national champion in kendo and a skilled karate practitioner. Despite this, Mori still faithfully looks out for Honey and attends to his wishes. He is rarely seen without his cousin and best friend, Mitsukuni "Honey" Haninozuka, who is often found riding on his shoulders. Historically, the Morinozuka family had served the Haninozuka family for many generations before marriage joined the families, thus breaking the master-servant tradition. Kaoru woke up and saw that Hikaru dyed his hair and started crying when he talked to him, and it was really touching to see that part.Masaya Nakamura Takashi Morinozuka (aka Mori, 銛之塚 崇, Morinozuka Takashi) is a 3rd-year student at Ouran Academy and the second-oldest member of the Ouran Host Club. As a Host, he is considered the "Wild" type in the manga and the "Strong-Silent" type in the anime. Their fight in that was of course, faked, but it was really immature and meant for comedic purposes it seemed, while the manga's fight was really serious, and both of them needed to speak to Mitsukuni and Takashi separately and eventually make up again, and I remember the end of that was so emotional and it makes me get emotional even thinking about it as well since it also started the change between the two of them. It was nothing compared to episode 5, which I saw first. ![]() Kaoru was always a selfless character, and it was actually really shocking when the twins had a real fight in the manga as well. But I can confirm that it was Kaoru that was willing to leave his emotions behind for Hikaru to be happy. I think Kaoru had a conversation with Haruhi during the date they had if I recall, but I need to re-read the manga again to brush up on my memory a bit as well. He was the one that you speak of when saying that he wanted his brother to be happy with Haruhi and he would close off his own feelings and allow him to realize and develop his emotions and have her for that reason. :) I can help you there, I'm pretty sure~ I believe I recall that Hikaru was the one who had the strongest feelings for Haruhi, but Kaoru also acknowledged that he liked her as well. I always considered these issues to be a core part of Tamaki’s character, and was wondering if anyone else agreed with me. This isn’t to say that I think Tamaki is a bad person (in fact, I think he’s one of the most virtuous people on the show), but I do think that he suffers from untreated psychological problems that prevent him from thinking clearly. This, to me at least, also explains why Tamaki considers himself to be Haruhi’s father rather than her spouse like he does with Kyouya. I mean, he never makes any truly romantic or caring gestures towards her outside of wanting to use her for himself, and everything he does do around her speaks more of control and dominance than it does of a healthy, loving relationship. Every time I watch the show, I feel that the feelings he has for her more closely resemble an unhealthy obsession than anything related to love. I don’t know if anyone else feels this way, but as far as the anime timeline is concerned, I don’t feel that Tamaki is truly in love with Haruhi. ![]()
